Out to eat with your babies!

We live in Providence, RI and love to go out to eat. We have a toddler and she loves to go out to eat too. Although, I think for her its more about the hustle bustle and people than the food. Anyway, our restaurant selection changes when we are with her, but being the great food city that Providence is, we have a few to choose from.

Often we head to Doherty’s East Ave Cafe, you’ll often see many little-ones in high chairs, the food is pretty good- the wait staff is great with the kids. Oak Restaurant is another good one but more suitable for brunch or lunch with a baby than dinner. India- if yours eats Indian like mine, they’ll love it. Apsara can be busy and cramped but its usually filled with families and patrons that know they’ll be there. If you need to go to a more upscale place, you won’t look crazy bringing them to Rue d’Lespoire. Pho Horn is fab if they like Vietnamese. There is always Gregg’s, it’s all family and high on most Rhode Islander’s lists of a good spot to take the kids. Hope Street Pizza is a kid pleaser, just about all kids love pizza. I would bring my daughter anywhere but I know that there are many parents that go to some nice upscale places as a night away from the kids, so I keep that in mind and stay away anyplace that is quiet, romantic or stuffy.

As always I’d love so more suggestions of kiddie-friendly good food places in Providence or elsewhere! Bon appetito babies!
