Fresh Fruits for Hungry Babies

Apple My daughter loves fruit, apples, bananas, pears, grapes you name it. As she has gotten older (almost 16 months) she is great at feeding herself. And that means she wants to hold the banana, bite from the apple, etc. For apples, we still eat mostly Macs and Cortlands, softer flesh for her to break apart with the 6 teeth she has.
I still cut grapes in halfs or quarters, easier to eat, less of a hazard. As we get closer to the summer I look forward to the juicy fruits and giving her peaches, nectarines, berries and melons. I am happy that she likes fruit so much, and hope that it continues to be her choice over cookies and candy in the future.

Small Updates

Had a few free minutes this morning so I updated the blogroll (the outgoing links section) and enabled the Wordpress cache to speed things up (a cache is a temporary copy of a page which can be loaded more quickly).
